How ClaimLedger AI Works
From loss to resolution, in five steps
Upload Your Insurance Policy
Start by uploading your policy document. The extractor reads it and pulls out the figures you would otherwise be hunting for across thirty pages — limits, deductibles, coverage types, dates. It then shows you what it found and waits. Nothing enters your claim until you have checked it against your own policy and confirmed it.
- Drag and drop your policy PDF or a photo of the declarations page
- Coverage limits and deductibles are read out for you
- Coverage types identified: Dwelling, Contents, ALE, Other Structures
- Every figure is put in front of you to confirm before it takes effect
- Stored encrypted, in transit and at rest
Track Your Additional Living Expenses (ALE)
Displaced from your home? Every expense that should fall under Additional Living Expenses is worth capturing, and the moment to capture it is when you are handed the receipt. Photograph it and the details come back filled in for you to check. Each one posts against the coverage that pays for it, so the number you care about — how much of your ALE limit is left — is always current rather than something you work out at the end.
- Photograph a receipt on your phone, including with no signal — it syncs when you reconnect
- Vendor, date, amount and category come back filled in
- Categorised as hotel, meals, storage, laundry, fuel and the rest
- Posted against your ALE limit as you go, with warnings at 75%, 90% and 100%
- Anything the reader was unsure of waits in a review queue rather than going in wrong
Manage Your Content Inventory
Listing a household you no longer have is the hardest part of a claim, and the part people abandon. So it is built to be picked up and put down: a room at a time, from a spreadsheet you already started, or from a photograph. Each item carries what you paid, what it would cost to replace, and what it has been depreciated to — which is how you find out what is being held back.
- Work room by room, at whatever pace you can manage
- Photograph damaged or destroyed items as you go
- Valuation suggestions based on the item, its age and its condition
- Replacement cost and depreciated value per item, so you can see the gap
- Import a list you already started from CSV or Excel — and export it back out
Work Through the Repair Estimate
Your insurer's estimate arrives as a long document written in a trade's shorthand, and it carries the single biggest number in your claim. Loaded in, it becomes a list you can actually work: every line item, in its room, with a decision attached. Accepting a cheaper finish in one room to fund something you care about more in another is a legitimate choice — this is where you can see what it costs you.
- Import your insurer's repair estimate, room by room and line by line
- Decide each line yourself: keep it, downgrade it, do it yourself, or contest it
- See what each decision frees up across the rest of the claim
- Keep your reasoning attached to the line it belongs to
Hand It Over When They Ask
At some point somebody asks you to send everything. The report is the answer to that request: your coverages, what has been spent against each, the inventory, the expenses and the totals, in one document and in an order an adjuster expects. Behind it are spreadsheet exports covering exactly the rows the report counted, so anything questioned can be traced back to the receipt it came from.
- A claim summary typed out as a PDF a carrier can read
- Spreadsheet exports of the expenses and inventory behind every figure
- Reminders before an ALE period, proof-of-loss window or policy date runs out
- The report and the export are built from the same figures, so they cannot disagree
What Makes ClaimLedger AI Different?
Purpose-built for insurance claims, powered by AI
Built for Insurance Claims
Not a generic expense tracker or inventory app. ClaimLedger AI is specifically designed for the insurance claims process, with features like coverage limit tracking, depreciation analysis, and adjuster-ready reporting.
AI That Works For You
AI-powered OCR for receipts, policy parsing, and valuation suggestions. Let artificial intelligence handle the tedious data entry while you focus on recovery. Smart suggestions, human decisions.
Yours to Keep, Whoever Else You Hire
A public adjuster is paid out of your settlement — Florida caps that at 20% of the claim, or 10% in the first year after a declared emergency (Fla. Stat. § 626.854), and other states differ. Hiring one can be the right call. Either way the record of what you spent and what you lost is yours, and it is worth more to whoever ends up arguing your claim than a shoebox of receipts is.
Mobile + Web Platform
Capture receipts on your phone while you're displaced — including with no signal, which is what a fire zone usually has. Sit down at a computer when you're ready to organise. What you captured on one is there on the other.
Start with the policy you already have.
A declarations page is enough. Free while you set your claim up — pricing confirmed before anything is charged.
